Ambassador Program Policies & Procedures

EnergyWin Ambassador Program

Policies & Procedures – Explained Simply

SECTION 1 — WHAT THIS DOCUMENT IS

This document explains, in clear everyday language, how the EnergyWin Ambassador Program works.

It tells you:

  • What an Ambassador does
  • How appointments work
  • How you earn money
  • What rules you need to follow
  • What EnergyWin expects from you

It’s written to be easy to follow, so you can understand the important points without needing legal training.

SECTION 2 — WHAT YOU DO AS AN AMBASSADOR

Your role is simple:

  • You speak to homeowners about EnergyWin.
  • You help them book an appointment with a Senior Solar Surveyor.
  • If the appointment takes place, you earn £50.
  • If the homeowner goes ahead and installs a system, you earn an additional commission.

You are not an employee — you are an independent referrer who earns money by creating meaningful introductions.

SECTION 3 — WHAT A “HELD APPOINTMENT” MEANS

A “held appointment” is an appointment that actually takes place and is useful.

An appointment counts as held when:

  • A Senior Solar Surveyor speaks directly with the homeowner
  • The surveyor is able to review the home (remotely or in person)
  • Solar and/or battery options are explained to the homeowner

If all three things happen, you earn £50.

Appointments DO NOT count as held when:

  • The person is not a homeowner
  • The person has no real interest in solar or battery
  • The property is unsuitable (such as a flat or apartment)
  • The details are fake or incorrect
  • The homeowner did not know the appointment was booked

The Senior Solar Surveyor makes the final decision about whether or not the appointment is held.

SECTION 4 — HOW YOU EARN MONEY

There are two ways you earn money as an Ambassador:

  1. £50 for every held appointment
  2. An additional commission for every system that gets installed

Let’s break those down in simple terms:

4.1 £50 Per Held Appointment

If you book an appointment and the surveyor confirms it took place properly, you earn **£50**.

This payment is made even if the homeowner never buys anything.

4.2 Extra Commission for Installed Projects

There are two types of installations:

  1. Battery-Only Installations

If the homeowner installs a battery (without solar), you earn:

**£250 per installation**

  1. Solar + Battery Installations

These pay more, and the more successful installs you refer, the more you earn:

– 1st install:     £500

– 2nd install:    £600

– 3rd install:     £700

– 4th install:     £800

– 5th install:     £900

– 6th and every install after:   £1,000 each

Once you reach the £1,000 level, every future solar + battery installation remains at that amount.

This structure rewards Ambassadors who stay active and build momentum.

SECTION 5 — DISCOUNTS & COMMISSION REDUCTIONS

Sometimes, to win a customer’s business, EnergyWin may offer them a discount on their solar or battery system.

When that happens, your commission for that job may be reduced — but your progress through the commission levels is NOT affected.

There are two types of discounts:

5.1 Level 1 Discount (L1)

This is used when the customer receives a discount of up to **£1,500** off the normal price.

If an L1 discount is used, your commission is reduced by **30%**.

Example:

If your commission for a solar + battery install would normally be £500, under L1 you would be paid:

£500 − 30% = **£350**

5.2 Level 2 Discount (L2)

This is rare and is used when the customer receives around **£2,500** off.

If an L2 discount is used, your commission is reduced by **50%**.

Example:

If your commission for a solar + battery install would normally be £500, under L2 you would be paid:

£500 − 50% = **£250**

5.3 Your Level Progression Is NOT Affected

Even if a commission is reduced because of a discount, you still move up the ladder.

Example:

If your first installation earns £250 because of an L2 discount, your next installation still qualifies for the **£600** level.

Discounts only affect the commission on that specific job — not your long-term earning potential.

SECTION 6 — WHEN YOU GET PAID

EnergyWin processes all Ambassador commissions **every second Friday**.

There are two types of payments:

6.1 £50 Held Appointment Commissions

These are simple:

– If an appointment is marked as “held,”

– You get **£50**,

– And it is paid on the next commission run.

Whether the customer ever buys anything does NOT affect this payment.

6.2 Installation Commissions

Installation commissions are paid when two things have happened:

  1. The system has been installed
  2. 30 days have passed since payments have been received on the installed project

If the system installs before the next pay run but the payment hasn’t been received yet, your commission will be paid on the run following 30 days after payment has been received.

6.3 Summary

– Commission runs happen every two weeks

– Held appointments = paid regardless of sale

– Install commissions wait until 30 days after payment has been received  on the installed project

This ensures everything is fair, accurate, and transparent and accounts for any issues with received payments that may occur to minimize the need for commissions to be “clawed back”.

SECTION 7 — RULES YOU MUST FOLLOW

These rules are here to protect you, EnergyWin, and the homeowners you speak to.

They also make sure everything is legal, fair, and professional.

Here are the most important rules, explained simply:

7.1 Protect People’s Personal Information (GDPR)

Homeowner information must be handled carefully.

You must:

– Only enter customer details into the official booking page

– Not save personal data on your phone, laptop, or in spreadsheets

– Not share customer details with anyone else

– Tell customers that EnergyWin will contact them

GDPR is a legal requirement. Breaking it can lead to removal from the Program.

7.2 No Spam (PECR Rules)

You must not:

– Send unsolicited emails or texts

– Use bought or scraped lists of people you don’t know

– Mass-message people on WhatsApp or Messenger

– Use automated tools to send messages without consent

Only contact people who actually want to be contacted.

7.3 Be Honest & Clear

You must:

– Explain your role truthfully (you are an Ambassador, not an employee)

– Never promise savings or results you cannot guarantee

– Never give technical or pricing advice unless EnergyWin has provided it

– Avoid exaggerated claims

People appreciate honesty — and so does EnergyWin.

7.4 Be Genuine

You must never:

– Book appointments with people who didn’t agree

– Input fake contact details

– Make up appointments to earn £50

Fabricated appointments harm the brand and are grounds for immediate removal.

7.5 Treat People with Respect

Always act professionally.

No pressure tactics.

No aggressive sales behaviour.

No rude or inappropriate messages.

EnergyWin wants every homeowner conversation to feel helpful — not pushy.

SECTION 8 — WHEN YOU MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM

EnergyWin can remove an Ambassador from the Program if:

  • You submit fake or misleading appointments
  • You break GDPR or privacy rules
  • You send spam or unsolicited messages
  • You mislead customers
  • You act in a way that harms EnergyWin’s reputation
  • You break these Policies & Procedures

If serious misconduct is involved, EnergyWin may withhold unpaid commissions linked to the breach.

However, valid commissions earned before removal are usually still paid.
